Dr. Graham is the Director of the Digital Library of Georgia, which partners with educational and cultural institutions to provide online access to key collections on Georgia history and life. Based at the University of Georgia, DLG is an initiative of Galileo, Georgia’s virtual library. DLG connects users to more than a hundred digital collections from 65 institutions and 100 government agencies. Graham is the co-director of the recently launches Civil Rights Digital Library, featuring an online archive of historical news film, along with related primary sources and curricular support material from 88 institutions across the U.S.

 

 

 

Georgia HomePLACE is a collaborative initiative that encourages public libraries to participate in the Digital Library of Georgia. HomePLACE is supported by Federal LSTA funds administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Georgia Public Library System, a unit of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Ed is a public historian who previously worked in history museums and historic preservation organizations.
